VFS® Vacuum Furnace Ships To Manufacturer In Southeast U.S.
Souderton, PA (May 18, 2009) – A VFS® vacuum furnace has shipped to a manufacturer located in the Southeast United States. The new HEQ3836-VDS Horizontal External Quench (HEQ) furnace is capable of both vacuum debinding and vacuum sintering in a single vacuum furnace. This furnace is a two door design each with a pneumatically activated clamping system. It includes a -5 HG argon quench system, with an energy efficient all metal hot zone capable of processing temperatures up to 2,500°F, all molybdenum heating elements, and the popular CompuVac® supervisory control system.
The unit features a 24" (610 mm) x 24" (610 mm) x 36" (914 mm) (W x H x D) hot zone that can be loaded from both ends, and is capable of handling loads up to 1,000 lbs.
This shipment represents the first VFS® vacuum furnace purchased by this customer.
