Ipsen Installs Vacuum Carburizing Furnace at Burton Industries, Inc.

Rockford, IL (11/19/10) - Ipsen, Inc. recently installed a Low Pressure Vacuum Carburizing furnace (AvaC™ - Acetylene Vacuum Carburizing) with 2-bar gas and oil quench, a workspace of 36"Wx48"Lx36"H and a workspace capacity of 2,400 pounds. The vacuum furnace is equipped with an automatic internal workload transfer system for vertical and horizontal drive motions. The large capacity oil quench chamber includes agitation, directional flow baffles and electric heat.
